TimeSlips was created by Anne Davis Basting from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee in 1998. TimeSlips is a storytelling method that unlocks storytelling to seniors by replacing the difficulty to remember with encouragement to create. In particular it is great for seniors with Alzheimer’s disease, stroke and/ or dementia. TimeSlips allows an individual to be creative in a group setting or alone, by using their imagination and creativity to work together. The story we create can take any form, perspective or tone.
